Objective Reality Trumps Magical Thinking

Magical hinking is considered part of normal childhood development. It is useful in helping children cope with fears & anxities but it is also believed to help with creative development. It’s why fantasies appeal to children.By the time one is an adult though we can tell the difference between reality and fantasy. Fantasy becomes only a part of creative imagination.We know there is no monster under the bed that vanishes when you turn on the lights or cuddle with your favorite toy but you can write stories about the monsters.

As an adult you should be able to comprehend objctive reality.

When there is a total break with the objective world it’s known as insanity.

Let’s take a look at our culture today. Where is the next generation in terms of dealing with reality?

We begin with the fact there are 2 genders. Male and female.

We don’t need peronal prounouns for identification. It’s nonsense.

The whole idea behind teaching personal pronouns is to break down a connection with objective reality. There can’t be any other explanation to suddenly have a need for personal pronouns when there was none to begin with.

A man cannot become a woman. A woman cannot become a man.

People can indulge their delusional or magical thinking but delusions don’t always work on other people. It’s not possible to force other people to see something that isn’t there.

It’s obvious that the 2 genders are meant for sexual union. Our bodies express a truth. They can have sexual intercouse and procreate.

Marriage is between one man and one woman. Marriage protects the intimate bond between the 2 genders and provides a stable environment for raising offspring.Marriage is both a legal institution and a covenant. There are reasons polygamy,bigamy and other types of ‘unions’ are illegal. There are reasons close relatives can’t marry and states have age requirements.

Same sex attraction is disordered. While i feel sympathetic to the struggle of homosexuals and know that they’re guaranteed basic human rights they cannot actually be married. Marriage is more than a piece of paper.

The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) was a federal law passed by the 104th United States Congress intended to define and protect the institution of marriage

DOMA specifically stated that “the word ‘spouse’ refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife” and further states that “[i]n determining the meaning of any Act of Congress, or of any ruling, regulation, or interpretation of the various administrative bureaus and agencies of the United States, the word ‘marriage’ means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, and the word ‘spouse’ refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife.”

Should they even have had to pass such a law?

ABORTION

Abortion is not healthcare. Pregnancy is not a disease or illness.

A doctor removes an organ when it is not fucntioning properly or is beyond repair.

A fetus is not an organ. It is a human being at the beginning of development. We’re the end result.

Every one of us began life the same way. You’re a human being in various stages of development. The life span is a continuum. You as an adult aren’t a seperate being from the one that was conceived in the womb.The minute conception took place that was going to be you.

We are supposed to ‘reimagine’ things about the world that are simply not true. Re-imagine is another way of saying let’s take a look at the world with the magical thinking we’d expect from a child.

A woman cannot be a man. A man cannot be a woman. It’s just wrong to take a minor who isn’t capable of adult thinking and tell them if they allow themselves to be surgically altered they can become the opposite gender.Magical thinking comes into play here. The idea that if i think something makes it true is absurd. Objective reality shows us that when a woman learns she is pregnant and wants to know the gender of the child there are only 2 possiblities. Her baby is going to be either a boy or a girl. In the case of praternal twins one gender will be male and the other female but those genders are not interchangeable. They will continue to be male and female for their entire life.

Years ago surgery and inteference with a child’s hormones would have been considered bizarre and totally unethical.No parent would have put a child through it. A doctor would have been horrified at the mention of it.

The girl has her breasts removed and given male hormones. A boy is castarated & given hormone blockers.My mother had a complete masectomy as part of her cancer treatment and i can tell you it was very traumatic. This surgery is not easy on the body let alone the psyche.

Nobody’s gender has actually changed. A female has a X chromosome. A male has a Y chromosome.

In the absence of the Y chromosome, the fetus will undergo female development. There are various exceptions, such as individuals with Klinefelter syndrome (who have XXY chromosomes), Swyer syndrome (women with XY chromosomes), and XX male syndrome (men with XX chromosomes), however these exceptions are rare. In most species with XY sex determination, an organism must have at least one X chromosome in order to survive.”

A Constitutional Right?

Same sex marriage came before the Supreme Court argued as a constitutional right. They said that same sex partners could not be denied that right.

The problem is that no such right exists in the Constitution.It’s not that the founders didn’t recognize marriage. The founders had no need to say anything. People would never have needed to be told they had the right to be married. The founders never questioned it. The founders would never have given same sex marriage any consideration. How do i know that? Simple, because they didn’t.

When you depart from objective reality and get into this magical thinking it requires a type of elaborate scheme or narrative to make it sound plausible.

Ever watch the movie Terminator where John-Sarah Conner’s protector -is in custody explaning the terminator robot & its mission to the psychiatrist? The psychiatrist is amazed at the elebortate psychotic scheme John has cooked up. Of course in the plot of the movie John has not contrived a delusional plot. He is telling the truth.It’s why the plot is elaborate. In order to get the public to accept transgender transition, same sex marriage or other magical thinking the public is likely to reject, they have to be given a delusional plot.Then, in order to reach the larger population it’s injected it into the education system and worked into the culture through all its institutions. The word new normal comes to mind. New normal implies that objective reality has changed and you can imagine a new reality. Anotherwords you can think something is true when it isn’t; delusional.

ABORTION. ANOTHER CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT?

Let’s dive into the claim again that abortion is a constitutional right . Abortion activitsts avoid the real issues with abortion by framing it as a right to privacy and/or a woman’s right to choose that is protected by our Constitution.

People confuse the Constitution and the Bill of Rights re the right to privacy .The Consitution mentions no such rights but the Bill of Rights addresses areas of concern by amendment; rights that the founders felt were necessary to protect. They are important.. They protect the individual from abuses of power by the government.

(More General Protection for Privacy?)
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

I’m not sure how they extrapolate the right to privacy to include a right to terminate the life of another human being. We’re talking about the reproductive process here. It begins with sexual intercourse. The woman is impregnated, conception takes place, then fertilization and finally implantation. Once conception takes place a human being begins the natural course of development.An ecoptic pregnancy is another matter. It is not a natural course of development and the fetus is not going to survive.

We can take it off the table right there. Now let’s talk about whether the right to privacy includes the termination of a human life or not? It’s the only question that matters.

The next question the acitivist will ask is-what about the woman’s right to choose? Now it’s framed as a woman’s rights issue. Since the woman is the partner that is pregnant that makes sense. :The reproductive process begins with sexual intercrouse invovling a male. The end result can be pregnancy. Does she have the right to choose to terminate the pregnancy? The next question would be, how do you terminate the pregnancy? Abortion and that entails taking the life of another human being. The mother isn’t killed. Yes, it’s her body but it’s more complicated than saying my body so my right.

We’re looking at the development of a human being. It always comes back to that. The fetus is not the mother. The mother is not the fetus. What about the right to life?

If that right isn’t protected none of the other rights matter. The debate usually comes down to when is it ok? They’ve boiled it down to SUBJECTIVE opinion. The question isn’t, when is it ok. Subjective. The question is, if it is ok at all. OBJECTIVE.

EQUITY. The magical thinking of Marxism.

The idea behind equity is that it’s not fair for some people to be poor and some people to be rich. We’re born equally according to our Constitution but not everyone has the same outcome. Equity is supposed to solve that problem.

When the Communist Revolution took place in Russia the main catalyst was class differences. Of course it may not be fair that some people are poor and some rich. Unfortuantely life isn’t always fair but it’s also true that we’re not totally powerless in the face of adverisity. We may be able to do somehing about our own circumstances. The truth is when the Communists took over Russia everyone ended up miserable except the elite at the top. Communism has never solved the problem of poverty. It simply made most people equally poor and left others at the top rich. Eqaulity means that we try to level the playing field so people can achieve their own goals. Equity ensures that no matter the circumstances you begin in you end up at the same place as everyone else. You don’t get to aspire to your own destiny. There’s no incentive to acheive anything and hard work goes out the window. The otutcome is handed to you if you are willing to sacrifice your liberty.

Marxism is magical thinking. You can take an imperfect world and try to force perfection as long as you’re willing to make the state god .Mark Levin wrote a fantastic book titled Ameritopia in which he outlined the vision of these people for our own country.

Communism is well known for one thing; the brutal treatement and in some instances genocide to impose their ideology on the masses. It’s evil and Ronald Reagan rightly called the USSR the evil empire.Communism is atheistic. Marx called religion the opiate of the people. Government is the god. The people at the top answer to no one. We were blessed here to have founders who based the Constitution on Judeo-Christian principles. They understood what giving absolute power to a central government meant. They recognized a power higher than themselves and the importance of guarding the rights that were given to us by our creator (God). If you give the state the power to determine your rights you also give them the power to take them away. The rights are abitrary at the whim of whoever happens to be in charge. God given rights are protected and the government assumes the responsbility for doing just that-nothing more.

Communism is a form of government that appeals to people who want power because they believe they know what’s better for you than you do for yourself. The objective reality is that you cannot have a perfect world. You can make the outcome equal for everyone but you have to sacrifice freedom to do it. When your goal is equity everyone gets a trophy. It sounds nice but it’s not fair to anyone. It’s totally unreasonable because you reward people who may not earn it and you take away the outcome for someone who has put in the effort. What about people who are honestly at a disadvantage? We are always free to help out people who need it. What about people who work for success but don’t make it?

Regardless of how it works out there are always lessons learned. There is always some good we can gain from the experience. The baby boomers had parents who lived through WWII and The Great Depression. Their goal was to give their children a better life than the one they had. Ronald Reagan talked about us handing down freedom to the next generation.

I have yet to see a Communist country ever lift a finger to help anyone. Nine times out of 10 if there is a conflict in the world it is almost always caused by a communist regime or a communist inspired revolution. i don’t think we should be heading down this road.

My message for Generation Z is this: it’s time to grow up and leave the magical thinking for your kids.You be the adult. In a less than perfect world there are values that will stand the test of time. They are based on the REAL world, that is the objective reality. There are 2 genders only, male and female. Marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman for life. It is the best environment for raising children and our own well being. It doesn’t mean everyone has to be married or that every single marriage is going to work out well.

Abortion takes a human life. What has made our country one of the greatest countries to exist is our respect for human life. It brought us out of slavery, the Civil War, Racial discrimination, Inequality for different groups of people, Child Labor and other injustices.

Objective reality isn’t always pretty but at least it’s honest. Magical thinking is delusional. You believe lies. In the end you become a slave. The state becomes your master.They’re free to tell you whatever lie they want and those that think the state is god will convince themselves it’s true even when objective reality says otherwise.
