Former Arkansas State Senator Jon Woods was the first elected official in the state to endorse President Trump in 2016.Two years later U.S. District Judge Timothy L. Brooks of the Western District of Arkansas sentenced Woods to serve 18 years in federal prison, in addition to three years of supervised release and ordered Woods to pay $1.6 million in restitution.

It’d be nice to live in a world where we didn’t need police but that’s like saying wouldn’t it be nice if we lived in a world that didn’t need doctors

.It’s unfortunate we have to build prisons as much as it’s unfortunate we have to build hospitals.

What it comes down to is the world we wished we lived in and the world we actually live in.My Uncle Bobby used to say, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride. Great point Uncle Bobby (RIP).

We live in a world where evil people exist and do evil things. The truth is we are all capable of some level of bad behavior but most of us were brought up to do good and avoid evil. We know enough to put the brakes on. We live in the real world too. We recognize obvious truths and deal with objective reality.

No unicorns, fairy dust and gold at the end of the rainbow for us.

So what are just some of these obvious truths?

There are 2 genders, male and female.

Only women can get pregnant

Male and female are made for each other and that’s obvious in our anatomy. It’s built into our design that fits perfectly together to perpetuate both our human race and family name.

It’s why women conceive children and why men cannot.

This may come as a shock to some but you are here because you began your life at conception. You were conceived and started the journey of life thanks to the people known as your father and mother.

Some people have decided to deny there is an objective reality. Evidently some people were never taught the word no and that you can’t have everything you want no matter how much you wish for it-nothing like having an ingrained sense of entitlement.

I saw people screaming at the sky when Trump was inaugurated. i watched people riot in the streets, burn down cities and even murder people for nearly 2 yrs straight either because they didn’t get their own way or because they thought they would force people into giving them their own way all over an election they didn’t like.

Then the people in power decided it would be a good idea to demonize police and defund them. Wrong response.

i think back to my own parents who lived through the Great Depression and went overseas to fight in WWII. The same people witnessed the horrific attack on Pearl Harbor. These were people who didn’t have half the luxuries we have today. It was not an easy life. They felt no sense of entitlement but they did have a great love of country. i can’t imagine either of my parents burning our flag or taking a knee. I certainly couldn’t imagine them screaming at the sky, looting a store or setting someone’s car on fire. They definitely wouldn’t demand we defund the police let alone consider assassinating a police officer.

I get that we have some bad apples in every police force. We even had a few in our little town. For the most part the police, fire fighters and emergency workers are there for the right reason. We’ve come a long ways since the days of the civil rights movement when people would have had justifiable resentment towards law enforcement. I’m thankful to live in a country where we’ve made strides to live up to the words of our Constitution. I’m wiling to face the objective reality that our history is a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly. We’re at least willing to look at it honestly. When i went to school we did. Our history lessons never tried to cover anything up.

Now it looks like we’re dealing with insanity. We have people who think we ought to live in a world that doesn’t exist. This is their march towards Utopia and they really believe we all should be marching with them ;if not we have be forced for our own good. i’m sorry but i still live in the world where 2+2=4.

We need our police. They can work on improvements while they keep the bad guys off our streets and maintain law and order.

Where we put the people who threaten the civil order in prison to keep the rest of us safe.

Where we respect people regardless of race. Where we respect our laws from the very top with the President to the very bottom with our school boards.

Where we have people in power who respect our Constitution and keep THEIR oath to protect and defend it. Marxist ideology just doesn’t cut it. Rich billionaires like George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg need to stay out of our elections-they should read the opening statement of our Constitution. It begins with the words we the people. Keep in mind we don’t condone violence of any kind. Unfortunately people who weren’t taught to have limits can’t put the brakes on. We have some of those people in our highest institutions. The FBI is one of them but when they swear their allegiance to people over their own oath they’re bound to have a problem. A big one. Violence is not the answer though. Vote the people out who are using them for their own devices.

I will say this, all the MAGA people i have met still believe in our country. They were brought up the same way i was and that is in a less than perfect world we do our best to make our part of it a good place for everyone. They believe we protect human life from conception to death, that the family is the best place to raise children and the government’s role is to protect our way of life. They believe in the 2nd amendment and the right to self defense. Last i knew not one of these people were ever involved in a mass shooting. They know that parents have their own children’s best interest at heart;not a bureaucrat with an ideology hell bent on indoctrination. They teach their children to get along with people. Race is not a problem unless you make it one. They teach their children the playing field doesn’t guarantee the same path other people have but they can be happy with their own achievements; equality not equity. Equality is possible, equity is not. Again there it is,objective reality. We’re all better off not living in a delusion.

You know what happens when people have a sense of entitlement and they feel no need to put the brakes on their behavior? CHAOS. Know what happens when you have a dishonest Justice Dept, dishonest FBI, dishonest media? You gaslight the worst people into doing the worst possible things. Eventually they will make their way to the doorstep of their creators. Not us. You can call us domestic terrorists while they escape responsibility for their own behavior. We see it all the time now. Believe me, if we acted up in school our parents didn’t march down to give the teachers hell; we were in more trouble at home. Not these people-i’d be shocked if they actually graduated or didn’t spend much of their time under suspension. We learned our basic subjects too and graduated capable of understanding the world we lived in. The left is trying to oversexualize even the youngest, create hostility between races with CRT and turn children against their own parents. Do they know math, history, science, reading? Hardly. i was sure that was the purpose of education. They keep falling further and further behind. Nobody had a problem with the pledge of allegiance then or saying a prayer before class. Kids weren’t shooting up schools either. i couldn’t have imagined worrying about such a thing. It never crossed your mind. If you mentioned such a thing people would have thought you were nuts.

So,this is a warning about the monster the left has created. They will deal with them eventually. We’re going to the ballot box and hopefully we can take our country back. It’s no utopia but it’s the best place going in the world. The elites like Pelosi,Biden,AOC et al don’t have to deal with the problems they’ve created. They live in their own little world shielded from the consequences of their own policies.

Nope,no screaming at the sky here though. Biden was sworn in. We’re doing the best we can do. Objective reality.
