An Open Letter to Dan Bongino

Dan Bongino, Mark Levin,Stephen K. Bannon and the late Rush Limbaugh and Andrew Breitbart are a few of my hero’s who influenced my journey from being an insane liberal to a true conservative. i’ll never look back. I will always support Dan Bongino but i have to explain one reservation i have-it’s his renouncement of the Catholic Church over a comment by Pope Francis. BTW, i also disagree with Pope Francis. It was an opinion by the Pope. It’s not doctrine/dogma re faith and morals therefore it’s not an infallible teaching.

Dan,i hope you understand that in our 2,000 yr history we have had horribly immoral popes,

mediocre ones and greats like Gregory the Great and John Paul II. Our founder is Jesus Himself. He gave us a promise when he chose Peter to be the foundation of the visible church and gave him the keys. The promise is that evil would not triumph over her…His Bride.

He didn’t say it wouldn’t exist. He never said there wouldn’t be times evil would infiltrate the Church but he did promise it would not overcome it. We’ve weathered many storms. We do not put our total faith in any one Pope. We put our faith in the infallible teachings no Pope has EVER touched no matter how evil or misguided they were.

We’ll weather this storm but our faith will be tested. Either Jesus promise meant something or it didn’t. You know the answer. You can disregard the Pope’s comment. You can disagree with it and yes you can criticize him for it. We don’t reject His Church over one man. The Holy Spirit guides the cardinals when they elect a Pope but with free agency they can go against the workings of the Holy Spirit in their choice. We are never forced to listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are always free to follow our will rather than submit to the Holy Spirit.

Men are men, including the cardinals. I will always wish they had chosen Cardinal Burke. Pope Francis means well but he doesn’t have the intellect of a John Paul II or Benedict the XVI. I hope that doesn’t sound unkind. I’m only stating the obvious. Pope Francis does not have the mental acumen to understand why there is a problem with some of his statements. i respect him as Pope. He may or may not have been the best choice, but he was chosen.

i do not have to agree with any of his opinions. As Catholics we discern between the infallible teachings of the Church and possibly ill informed opinions of any one Pope. We never have to agree with his opinions. It doesn’t mean we don’t respect him or reject his legitimate authority as the visible head of the Church. It does mean his opinions are open to scrutiny.

Scripture asks the question; when Jesus returns will he find any faith on earth? i believe our faith is being tested but i would never reject Holy Mother the Church over one man and his OPINION. Unfortunately there is still much anti Catholic bigotry in the United States. Non Catholics are always ready to attack the Church. Whether it’s the secular culture or Protestant denominations who are virulently anti Catholic or some that are just more subtle about it.

We have to deal with so called Catholics too like Biden and Pelosi who are clueless when it comes to Church teaching and misrepresent the Church both to Catholics [and cause scandal] and non Catholics who don’t know any better.

i understand your disappointment, frustration and justifiable anger with Pope Francis over what he said but i’m quite upset that you seemed to renounce the WHOLE Church because of him. I get it Dan. We’re up against enough crap without having the head of the Catholic Church apparently siding with the tyrannical left.

The Catholic Church has given us all that is good, true and beautiful for 2,000 yrs. It will survive one man. It will survive one misguided opinion. Please reconsider what you said. i was very upset when i heard you question your allegiance to the Church. We’ll survive the storm. Talk to your local priest. Talk to your local Bishop. The Bishop is as much the MAGISTERIUM of the Church as the Pope is.

I understand with all that we’re up against; you more so than most of us because you’re in the public eye, that his comments weren’t helpful at all but there’s no reason to abandon the whole Catholic Church. There’s plenty of good people in the Church to count on. As for me, i’d be looking closely at the Byzantine Catholic Church or any one of the Eastern rites. It might give you the little spark that you need at this time.

‘One thing that convinced me to return to the Catholic Church is that i quit looking at other people and spent more time in self reflection. Every time i catch myself falling into that old horrible trap of seeing problems everywhere else i stop and do a self check. It doesn’t matter what they do or say. It matters what i do or say.

You Knew Something Was Wrong Didn’t You?

The Left is Using Mail-in Voting to Stoke a REVOLUTION | The Glenn Beck Program – YouTube

Glenn Beck knew what was up. He told us  what the Dems were doing.

Watch the you tube videos [below] Beck had put out BEFORE  the election. He was warning people then. i’ve included a few of them. I could probably find more.

They [meaning the Dems plus Deep State] own the media so they controlled the narrative. The narrative was everything. They accused Trump of doing everything they were doing or planned on doing. Notice they stressed that it was likely we would not know the winner of the election on Nov 3. There was no reason not to have it wrapped up on Nov 3. States like Florida did. Not that they didn’t try to get it delayed. Fortunately Gov DeSantis was having none of it. They emphasized the outcome might be delayed for some time; that is we might not have a clear winner the night of Nov 3.

The key points of the media narrative were critical to their plot;

1. the aforementioned delay in the results.

2. Trump’s possible declaration of winning the election-which they said would be false. They actually said it might look like he won.

3. The Republicans were trying to suppress the vote.

4. The night of the election they warned Trump not to make what they deemed was a premature announcement. Biden came out and made a premature announcement.

The most notable delay is the one in Georgia. They went a step further than the delay narrative by spreading the rumor there was a main water break and the counting had to stop. The story was later proven to be false. All the critical swing states had a delay .i’m not sure why when it came to Georgia they felt the need to come up with the story about a water break. None of the other states seemed to think they needed an excuse. They just did it. Joe Biden got all the votes he needed AFTER Nov 3rd.

Who was up that night and thought that Trump had won in a landslide then had a ‘WTH just happened’ moment after that? Did you call it a night thinking something was going to go horribly wrong? Something just wasn’t right? Were you a little uneasy after that? Who can say they honestly never saw anything like it in an election?

Now would be a good time to recall what Hillary Clinton said prior to election day. Did this stand out to you when she said it?

After everything the Democrats [media included]did to Trump from 2016 to 2020 doesn’t it beg the question; were they corrupt enough to rig the 2020 election?

Isn’t their ‘voting rights’ act [HR1] a little too similar to the tactics they used in 2020?

As soon as Trump said the election was stolen his account at Twitter was banned. You’re not allowed to talk about the election being rigged/stolen. You can’t even QUESTION the 2020 election. Nothing about it seemed right. None of it seemed to add up.
