Winsome Sears beamed to the crowd after she and Virginia’s Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin won over Terry McAuliffe and the Democrat machine in a blue state. The crowd was equally charged and took some time to die down, only doing so after a “Winsome” chant. What followed was a superb speech about her humble beginnings, her pride as a marine, and her love of this country she immigrated to from Jamaica. She also warned that there are those out there who wish to divide us and want us to live like we’re back in the civil rights era

Source: Bonchie The contentious trial of Kyle Rittenhouse continued yesterday. RedState has extensively followed the case since the teenager was charged with murder after appearing to act in self-defense (see here, here, and here for more details). The shootings happened during the Black Lives Matter-fueled riots that occurred in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. Since the trial began, the opinions have been flying on cable news among the “smart set.” You know, those legal analysts that are so brilliant that they comment on the law for leftwing hosts on CNN instead of…actually practicing it. For example, one instance that set off the talking heads involved a ruling in which the judge told the prosecution that they could not refer to those who Rittenhouse shot as “victims.” To normal people that makes total sense. To refer to them as victims is to prematurely pronounce Rittenhouse guilty. That didn’t stop CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin from calling the judge’s rulings “incomprehensible,” among other things, on air. Here’s a sampling of some of Toobin’s commentary per the Washington Examiner. “It is a very weird … ruling,” he said. “What’s very weird is allowing this extremely pejorative, assuming the conclusion, words of ‘rioters’ and ‘looters,’ which all in all should help Rittenhouse’s defense a great deal.” He added, “[It’s] a very troubling situation because, again, using [those words] suggests that Rittenhouse was justified in what he was doing, because these were bad people that he shot, they were committing crimes, they were out there looting, they were out there being arsonists, when that is very much in dispute in the trial. … what these people were doing.” Toobin noted for good measure that it’s not “the victims who are on trial here” but rather Rittenhouse.
From Jonathan Turley: The office of Special Counsel John Durham has confirmed that Igor Danchenko, a key source for British ex-spy Christopher Steele, has been arrested. This is the third arrest by Durham who is moving toward the prosecution stage of his investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion scandal. Durham is variously described as either painfully methodical or positively glacial as a prosecutor. But he is widely credited with being a dogged and absolutely apolitical prosecutor. Danchenko’s arrest is a seismic development and confirmed Durham is far from done with his investigation. Washington was recently rocked by the indictment of Michael Sussman, former counsel for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee, for his alleged role in spreading a false Russia conspiracy theory. … Potential apex targets above him in investigation range from Steele himself to Clinton general counsel Marc Elias to Clinton campaign officials. There is no indication if Durham has possible evidence of criminal acts by those figures but there is every indication that he is not done by a long shot with this investigation.“Durham Is Far From Done”–American Attorney Responds To Durham Indictment
From NY Times (read with some skepticism). They’re up to something.
The Justice Department searched two locations associated with the conservative group Project Veritas as part of an investigation into how a diary stolen from President Biden’s daughter, Ashley, came to be publicly disclosed a week and a half before the 2020 presidential election, according to people briefed on the matter.
Federal agents in New York conducted the court-ordered searches on Thursday — one in New York City and one in suburban Westchester County — at places linked to people who had worked with the group and its leader, James O’Keefe, according to two of the people briefed on the events. The investigation is being handled by F.B.I. agents and federal prosecutors in Manhattan who work on public corruption matters, the people said.
Project Veritas did not publish Ms. Biden’s diary, but dozens of handwritten pages from it were posted on a right wing website on Oct. 24, 2020, at a time when President Donald J. Trump was seeking to undermine Mr. Biden’s credibility by portraying his son, Hunter, as engaging in corrupt business dealings. The posting was largely ignored by other conservative outlets and the mainstream media.
The website said it had obtained the diary from a whistle-blower who worked for a media organization that refused to publish a story about it before the election. It claimed to know where the actual diary was located and that the whistle-blower had an audio recording of Ms. Biden admitting it was hers.
Obama needs a let’s go brandon message for himself. The Democrats just lost support of our senior citizens.
Former U.S. President Barack Obama will jet into Glasgow, Scotland, on Monday for a lightning visit to the COP26 climate conference. While there he will tell “old folks” to clear the way for the younger generation one week after 78-year-old President Joe Biden addressed the same gathering.
It will be Obama’s first visit to Scotland since 2017 when the 60-year-old spoke to a selection of local business leaders and politicians before heading off to play a round golf at St Andrews, theDaily Recordreports.

On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, if Colin Kaepernick thinks the NFL is like slavery why does he keep trying to get on a team and volunteer to be if he considers it slavery? Just like the media calls those that they disagree with racists, MSNBC and CNN have substantial financial backing despite their lack of profit. America needs patriots to become shareholders of Comcast and AT&T, go to their shareholder’s meetings and object to their propaganda. Then, despite the Democrat’s Tuesday election loss, Nancy Pelosi is moving diligently to advance her agenda despite opposition from moderate and centrist Democrats who want to know what’s in the bill before voting for it. If our members of Congress, elected to represent us, don’t know what’s in the bill how will any of the citizens know what’s in it? Later, Sen, Mike Lee calls in to discuss the Constitutionality of President Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate work-around. The verdict is a resounding, no! Lee hopes that the Supreme Court will take up these cases because this is the most egregious mandate since President Truman’s seizure of steel mills during the Korean War. Are the Democrats willing to lose everything in the name of a mandate they don’t legally have the power to impose? Afterward, John Fund, co-author of “Our Broken Elections: How the Left Changed the Way You Vote’. Fund argues that re-engineering the electoral system in the name of COVID has immeasurably hurt the republic.Mark Levin Podcast – Mark Levin Audio Rewind – 11/4/21
