Texas Republican Chip Roy was furious this week after Democrats, and a handful of Republicans passed an amendment that would require women to register for the Selective Service.In a 35-24 vote the House Armed Services Committee approved an amendment to expand registration for the military draft to women, Military.com reported.The measure was led by Air Force veteran and Democrat Pennsylvania Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, who accused the current policy of only drafting men as being unconstitutional because it discriminates based on gender.
