i personally can’t stand Bill Maher but the Dragon has a point
I have never been a huge fan of Maher but i have never ignored what he has to say. Often he has seemed politically inconsistent and his view of the GOP a silly bubbled caricature of a diverse and powerful party. His joking has often left the impression that the craziest personality parts of right wing politics defines the whole. His view has often reflected the left wing trolls of Twitter and he has given the left a pass far too many times, but Bill Maher is an intelligent man and often worth viewing for a dose of humility if not anger. couldn’t pass it up
Mitch McConnell was just re-elected and won’t be up for re-election until 2027.Fine. We can’t undo his re-election but there’s no reason on earth he needs to be the Senate Minority Leader. He’s been in this position way too long and he’s been horrible at best. He costs us elections, he doesn’t represent the base of the party and he’s very ineffective against the Democrats-helping them more than hindering them. On top of lacking leadership qualities he’s a flat out backstabber.
So when is he going to do the right thing and step down or the Republicans in the Senate going to grow a spine and force him out of his position? And NO we do not want his prodigy John Thune. That’s dead.Mitch picked him. All we need to know.
Former President Trump endorsed former NFL star Herschel Walker for Georgia’s Senate seat as the famed athlete looks to unseat Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) next year.“Herschel Walker is a friend, a Patriot, and an outstanding American who is going to be a GREAT United States Senator. He embodies ‘America First’ and the winning spirit of Georgia. Herschel is tough on Crime and Borders, and he will always stand in support of Law Enforcement, Military, and our Vets,” Trump said in a statement issued through his Save America PAC.
“He will fight hard for our Second Amendment and Voter Integrity. Herschel Walker will never let you down. He was a great football player and will be an even better U.S. Senator—if that is even possible. He has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
