7 shot at Philadelphia transit station – Breaking911

Numerous people were shot at a transit station in North Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon.Police say at least seven people were struck by gunfire around 3 p.m. local time at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) station in the city’s Olney neighborhood. One suspect is in custody and two guns were recovered. The victims range in age from 17 to 70 — The extent of their injuries are unknown.“It’s very brazen. We had officers, whether it’s from SEPTA, were out here. We were able to get someone in custody as quickly as we did because we had officers in the area working on another assignment,” said Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw. “So it’s not for our lack of presence out here, but I think it’s very telling that folks that are willing to engage in these shootings are becoming more and more emboldened, regardless or not if they see us out here.”

Andrew Breitbart: How Rush Limbaugh Inspired Me

One day I asked [my future father-in-law Orson Bean] why he had Rush Limbaugh’s book The Way Things Ought to Be on his shelf. I asked him, “Why would you have a book by this guy?”And Orson said, “Have you ever listened to him?”I said yes, of course, even though I never had. I was convinced to the core of my being that Rush Limbaugh was a Nazi, anti-black, anti-Jewish, and anti-all things decent. Without berating me for disagreeing with him, Orson simply suggested that I listen to him again.…This is where my rendezvous with destiny begins.

Mark Levin Remembers Rush Limbaugh: ‘We’ve Lost Thomas Paine’

MARK LEVIN: We lost a tremendous patriot. I’ve known Rush for 25 years. I want your audience to know how much he profoundly loved them […] An incredibly wise man, a very, very smart man. A dear person. If you thought somebody needed help, he would help them. Nothing like what the liberal media has tried to do to him.I just want him to be remembered the way he should be remembered. A tremendous patriot of this country who refused to accept the attacks that came against this country from within. He refused to accept the ideological changes in this country. He defended the traditions of this country, and he spoke for tens of millions of us and, you know, I’ve met a lot of smart people in my life, dealt with a lot of smart people, never smarter than Rush, never wiser, and never kinder. […]This is a tremendously sad day for those who love this country and don’t believe in its fundamental transformations. It’s a tremendously sad day for those who salute the flag and embrace the military and law enforcement. It’s a tremendously sad day because lost Thomas Paine, we’ve lost a voice like no other and one that will never be again, and particularly at a time when we need a voice like his.

RUSH: This is Gary in Phoenix. You’re next. Welcome to the EIB Network. Hello.CALLER: Mr. Limbaugh, what a pleasure to talk to you.RUSH: Thank you, sir.CALLER: Greetings from a fellow Missourian. I am a nurse. I’m a registered nurse, and God was very good to me. He gave me the gift of compassion and empathy, and that’s why I enjoyed my job so much, and that’s why I think I did very well at it. My question for you is, you say quite often, “I have talent on loan from God-d.” I’m wondering: What do you feel your talent is and what is the gift that God gave you that allowed you to become the person you are today?

The Indispensable Man: Rush Limbaugh, 1951-2021 :: SteynOnline

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Rush Limbaugh, a giant of American broadcasting, a uniquely talented performer, and a hugely generous man to whom I owe almost everything.Rush died this morning, after a year-long struggle with lung cancer. I was scheduled to guest-host today’s show. Instead, as you can hear, his beloved Kathryn will be introducing a special program put together by the EIB team to celebrate a great man’s life and legacy. It’s a hard thing to do – compressing a glorious third-of-a-century into three hours – but Snerdley, Kraig, Mike, Allie and everyone else I’ve worked with there for so many years will do their best.

Comey email reveals FBI, DOJ made ‘premeditated effort to dislodge’ Trump from office: Gaetz | Fox News

The Justice Department and FBI engaged in a “premeditated effort to dislodge the duly elected president of the United States,” Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., charged Monday on “Hannity.”Gaetz was responding to a report published earlier Monday by Just the News which revealed that on Jan. 12, 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey had emailed then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and said that the FBI was “not able to sufficiently corroborate the reporting” in the now-infamous Steele dossier. The email was sent the same day Comey signed a FISA surveillance warrant that declared Steele’s reporting as verified.”Not only did our own Justice Department set up the president on the Russia hoax, they did it with rotten information and they knew the information was rotten when they did it.”
