Former President Donald Trump’s account on the social media website Gab was active this week, in what appeared to be his first post since leaving the White House last month. The account posted a copy of the letter Trump’s lawyers wrote to Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the House of Representatives’ lead impeachment manager. In the letter, they rejected his attempt to get Trump to testify in the upcoming impeachment trial.Requests for comment to Trump’s political action committee and his lead impeachment defense lawyer weren’t immediately returned.Former Trump campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis joined Gab this week. Other current and former advisers are active on the website.Trump had not posted there since Jan. 8.On that day, he posted twice, including a notice that he wouldn’t be attending the inauguration on Jan. 20. Trump left Washington on Inauguration Day, hours before his rival Joe Biden was sworn into office.Trump is permanently banned from Twitter for allegedly glorifying violence in the wake of the storming of the U.S. Capitol. Trump accused Twitter of going “further and further in banning free speech” and coordinating “with the Democrats and the Radical Left” to silence him and his supporters.Facebook has also banned Trump indefinitely, a decision that is currently being reviewed by its Oversight Board.Trump was also removed or suspended from other social media sites, including Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitch.Trump has floated starting a rival to the companies that banned him. Parler, an emerging competitor to Twitter before being kicked off Amazon’s servers, never drew the former president, but he has been a member of Gab since August 2016. Trump has over 1.3 million followers on Gab, which owns its own servers after facing a deplatforming effort several years ago.“Most technology startups have the luxury of using third-party cloud hosting providers like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and others. Gab does not have this luxury. Over the past four years we have been banned from multiple cloud hosting providers and were told that if we didn’t like it we should ‘build our own.’ So, that’s exactly what we did,” CEO Andrew Torba wrote in a blog post last year.Gab bills itself as “The Free Speech Social Network” and says its mission is “to defend, protect, and preserve free speech online for all people.” Gab emphasized on its website that “political speech that is protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution will be allowed on the platform.” Illegal activity, such as pornography and threats of violence, aren’t allowed.

The Supreme Court on Friday listed several high-profile election lawsuits for consideration at its mid-February conference. The cases include challenges to the 2020 election from Trump-aligned lawyers Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, as well as Republican Rep. Mike Kelly’s Pennsylvania lawsuit. Nearly every lawsuit takes issue with the expanded use of mail-in ballots by many states. The decision came after the court declined to fast-track all election-related litigation in early January. In nearly every plea for expedition, lawyers backing former President Donald Trump told the court that if the cases were not heard before President Biden’s inauguration, their success would be unlikely. But after the court pushed them off, many lawyers said that the challenges were still important and could have long-term implications for election fairness. Trump lawyer John Eastman told the Washington Examiner that even with Trump out of office, it was important to settle the issues raised by expanded mail-in voting.”Our legal issue,” he said, referring to the way in which Pennsylvania conducted the 2020 election, “remains important and in need of the court’s review.”Similarly, Kelly’s lawyer Greg Teufel, told the Washington Examiner after the court refused to hear his case before the inauguration that the 10-year congressman and major Trump ally had no intention of dropping the suit.As election litigation continues to play out in the courts, many Republican state legislators have begun introducing bills to curb mail-in voting through law.If the Supreme Court accepts any of the election lawsuits, it is likely that they won’t be heard until October.
Time Magazine has published intricate details of what they deem
“a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans.”
The campaign to define supporters of opposition leader Donald Trump as “domestic terrorists” took a new turn this week when a center-right publication argued that American citizens should be treated like the Islamic extremists responsible for the 2001 World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks. “We defeated al Qaeda and can do the same to the fascist thugs who attacked our democracy last month,” former CIA officer Kevin Carroll wrote in the Washington Examiner. “But only if we take similar hard measures against the enemy within.”The Jan. 6 protest, which saw sporadic violence, has been used by left-wing media organizations, segments of the national security establishment, and other Democratic Party institutions as a pretext to send federal law enforcement after the more than 74 million Americans who did not vote for Joe Biden. The ghoulish campaign is nakedly partisan, or the same institutions would have pushed to define as domestic terror groups the Black Lives Matter and Antifa networks responsible for the spring and summer’s nationwide George Floyd riots that led to hundreds of felonies, including arson, theft, assault, and murder. But those two organizations are aligned with parts of the Democratic Party. BLM, according to its own website, is a Democratic Party fundraising mechanism. That’s where the Washington Examiner comes in: By reinforcing from the right the false narrative about the events of Jan. 6, the conservative publication legitimized the Democratic Party’s campaign to use law enforcement to target the right.Carroll is a former CIA officer and affiliated with the Lincoln Project, the anti-Trump organization whose co-founder reportedly attempted to groom underage boys for sex. Among other methods that might be used to break Americans, Carroll recommends: bringing “the heaviest felony charges possible on as many participants” in the Jan. 6 protests; using internet chatrooms to entrap American citizens; and compelling fire and police departments to require loyalty oaths of their employees. “We ruthlessly hunted down foreign terrorists after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks,” argues Carroll, “and must do the same to their domestic equivalents.”Emails to the Examiner’s top editors and spokesman requesting comment regarding the ethics and probity of publishing an article arguing that Americans should be treated like foreign terrorists responsible for nearly 3,000 deaths in one day went unanswered. Requests for comment from the Examiner’s owner Phillip Anschutz were also not answered by press time.It should come as little surprise that the U.S. national security establishment wants to refit the counterterrorism industry to go after Americans. With the war on terror and the sweeping illegal surveillance of U.S. citizens both rationalized in the aftermath of 9/11, the two strands were destined to become entwined at some point. The U.S. opposition’s ongoing challenge to the legitimacy of America’s corporate and political elite hastened the inevitable.Over the last two decades, the war on terror has become one of Washington, DC’s most lucrative job programs, feeding not only the Pentagon and the defense industry but also the State Department and the many non-governmental organizations employed to build local and state institutions on behalf of those who use American force to destroy their enemies. Since the departments of defense and state represent important Beltway constituencies, the war on terror was designed to last indefinitely. And so nearly twenty years after 9/11, US troops are still in Afghanistan and Iraq, and continue to conduct operations against Muslims throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia.Few if any of these missions now help protect Americans at home. Preventing prospective terrorists from entering the United States best ensures our security against terrorists. But recall how Trump’s cabinet pushed back when he wanted to impose a ban on foreigners from countries incapable of providing reliable information about those traveling under their passports. Top Pentagon officials complained that keeping Iraqi nationals from obtaining visas angered the Iraqi leadership from whom they needed permission to conduct counterterrorism operations. That is, the senior officials responsible for U.S. national security preferred to let potential terrorists enter the United States rather than risk the Pentagon’s freedom to kill those the Iraqi government designated as terrorists.
We’re definitely going to talk about it. There’s pros and cons to a new party. We should look into both sides. Stay tuned!
I can’t think of a better way to say it than the title,Joe Biden is NOT the U.S. President.
Why beat around the bush or mince words? We may as well say it in plain English. There will be people and probably plenty of them who will respond by saying this is delusional or i’m a conspiracy theorist. They might even suggest that i must be a member of Q Anon. i’m sure they will they will at least think i’m a right winger or extremist.Fat chance. No interest. My grandfather was a vet of WWI and my dad a veteran of WWII. In fact he and my mother were both lifelong Democrats. They were model citizens and expected their kids to be model citizens.
I have run into people who support Trump who are part of Q Anon. i won’t go into what i personally think about this group;suffice it to say they are Trump supporters so we have that in common but anything else they believe is up to them. i won’t put them down but i’m definitely not signing up for it either. It’s their business. They’re free to belong to the group. i’m definitely not a militant in the sense i am going to attack persons or private property and violate our laws. Mob rule is dangerous and counter productive. We’ve been blessed to live in a country that PROTECTS freedom of assembly and speech as well as the right to keep and bear arms. Let’s not abuse it. On the other hand let’s make sure our government continues to protect our freedoms and rights. It’s THEIR first responsibility. We have an agreement. We don’t abuse our rights; the government doesn’t abuse us.
We get to vote once every 4 yrs to decide who we are going to give this responsibility to. Our legislative bodies determine the rules that will govern our elections. The idea is that the states will follow the Constitution and our elections will be free and fair. What happens when a powerful group decides they don’t like the candidate chosen by a particular party [through its own primary] and that candidate has to be stopped? What happens if that powerful group includes our own institutions such as the FBI,DOJ, State Department, President and Vice President, media and opposition in the party the candidate belongs to? What happens if the media decides it’s ok to gaslight the public into believing the candidate is an agent of a foreign adversary such as Russia? Worse, what happens if that candidate is elected President and the media conspires with the agencies of our government to do whatever it takes to get him removed from office?
You do know what that is called, right? It’s not just a really bad idea. It’s not just a lie. It’s called a coup and if the group wants power that badly they were willing to do this to a sitting President, our own country and its citizens there is something wrong with them. They certainly can’t be trusted with having power. They will definitely abuse it.
In fact, these people would be willing to do anything to get power including rigging an election and supporting a candidate who was not legitimately elected. They’re willing to try and pull off a coup. They’re not going to think twice about rigging an election. Is the U.S. media going to expose them? The U.S. media conspired with them to perpetuate the Russia Hoax against Pres Trump with the same goal in mind.
Joe Biden is not the President of the United States. You watched the same coverage i did where Pres Trump was winning in a landslide and by God if Biden didn’t get the votes he needed in 4 critical states to overcome a massive lead. When you look at those states you see that they violated the Constitution when they made up their own rules outside the legislative branch. Remember when Hillary Clinton told Biden not to concede under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES? It’s one thing to tell a candidate not to concede if the election is questionable; it’s another to tell them not to concede under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
When you violate the Constitution in a critical state to rig the election for the candidate you want that makes the election illegitimate. PERIOD. Don’t forget these are the same people who tried to pull off a coup in the United States. When the coup failed they had to go another route and that route was through the upcoming election. They had to be reasonably sure they wouldn’t fail this time. A rigged election was their best chance. Would they do that? You mean to tell me a group willing to try to pull off a coup wouldn’t?
So what could have been done to stop them? Pres Trump did everything he could legitimately do to put a stop to it. It was really up to the Republicans in Congress to put a stop to it. They had to know the kind of people they were dealing with including how corrupt Biden was and what would happen if he were ILLEGITIMATELY put into office. if i had been Trump’s VP on Jan 6 i would have done whatever was necessary to stop it. I don’t mean violence here. i don’t mean terrorism here. I leave those kind of tactics to anarchists like Antifa or marxists like BLM. I feel too grateful to live in a country like ours to ever consider going that route. Pence and the Republicans could have stood up against the tyranny right then and there, refused to certify, let it go back to the respective states to be corrected or let their decision be forced into the Supreme Court.
We know Biden didn’t win. They know very well Biden didn’t win and that’s exactly why they’re are silencing anyone who questions the legitimacy of the election. Their actions are not the actions of people who have won a legitimate election.
Biden is NOT the President of the United States. Trump won.
Last question: is the media EVER going to inform the public about Spygate, investigate and reveal the Russia Collusion lie in its entirety?
An interesting compare-&-contrast arises amid reports out today of Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, getting a book deal to publish his memoir “Beautiful Things”.The controversial life of Hunter Biden includes abusive relationships, sex scandals, drug use and retaining a position of affluence by trading on his father’s position in government. Everything surrounding Hunter Biden is not only sketchy, it is the life of a very troubled, manipulative, opportunistic and creepy person… e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.
