I pinched a nerve in my shoulder and I am cranky. The pain is ridiculous. I normally do no meds, so for me to regularly ingest Ibuprofen, you know it’s bad! I read up on it today and total rest is the sole cure, other than surgical intervention – and that is not even on the table. I am not a fan of doctors in general, and to cut on me in particular. So rest it is. Ointments and anti-inflammatories are the suggested cures, along with massage, once the pain is not as acute. We will see. I guess this is one of those “only time will tell” scenarios. Joy.

Hunter Biden settled a whopping $450k tax lien he was found liable for last month in a prompt six days, raising questions as to how the younger Biden settled the tax liability in such a speedy manner, despite having no discernible employment or income.Biden was only declared to be legally liable for the $450k debt on July 9th, when the District of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer ruled he owed the tidy sum. Yet the Chief Financial Officer confirmed that the “tax issue was resolved” to the New York Post on July 15th, only six days after the agency ruled that Biden was liable for it.Multiple members of the Biden family have found themselves in tax liability proceedings in several states over the years, usually owing back taxes they declined to pay that total in the hundreds of thousands. How was Biden able to come up with $450,000 for taxes in such a quick fashion? It doesn’t appear that he has any ongoing employment, having shied from the public view after a scandal in which he was caught accepting millions of dollars in payment from Ukrainian energy company Burisma. The younger Biden had no experience in the energy industry before signing on with Burisma, raising accusations of cronyism and political corruption in connection with his status as the then-Vice President’s son.Hunter Biden stated in legal record that he was in “significant debt” in legal proceedings regarding child support of a baby he fathered with an Arkansas stripper, arguing in court documents that he did not have the funds to support the child. Biden ultimately ended up settling with the Arkansas plaintiff in March, tacitly admitting to fathering the child and agreeing to provide financial support for the baby.“I attest that I am unemployed and have had no monthly income since May 2019,” said the younger Biden in November 2019 court documents, raising serious questions as to how he was able to resolve a half-million dollar tax lien less than a year later.
The Washington Post published an article over the weekend that shamelessly praised and glamorized the protest culture in Portland, Oregon.Since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis back in May, violent rioters have taken over the city of Portland, frequently attacking law enforcement and ravaging the city. Protesters have attacked police with bottles, rocks, and even lasers that have possibly left some federal agents permanently blind. You wouldn’t know about any of this violence from the WaPo article though, as there is nary a mention. The article also never refers to these gatherings as “riots” and to these hostile hooligans as “rioters” despite the fact that documented violence has been inflicted upon Portland by them time and again.
Chicago looters were on such a roll Sunfay night they even vandalized the Ronald McDonald foundation that holds sick kids in its building.
CHICAGO (CBS) — The Ronald McDonald House in Streeterville was among the establishments targeted during looting in Chicago early Monday morning.
The facility provides a home and resources to families while a child receives treatment at local hospitals.
Vandals struck the facility at 211 E. Grand Ave. near Lurie Children’s Hospital as families were sleeping inside. Several windows were smashed, and the front door had to be boarded up.
For a while, residents were placed on lockdown while the commotion was happening right outside.
“We’re here for families at all times – whether there’s a pandemic or civil unrest, we need to make sure that we are here allowing families to get the rest they need while they have a child in the hospital seeking care, and so it’s so important that anything that might be going on outside, we maintain our care for families,” said Lisa Mitchell of Ronald McDonald House.
