SAN FRANCISCO – In a lighted garage on one of San Francisco’s busiest streets, a young man in baggy trousers and messy brown hair pulled down his pants. He had been hiding two pairs of stolen jeans with the tags still on them. He handed them to another man waiting nearby, took some money, pulled up his pants and headed back into another store on Market Street — home to the city’s high-end designers and big-chain retail shops. The incident wasn’t a one-off. These brazen acts of petty theft and shoplifting are a dangerous and all-too-common consequence of Proposition 47, a referendum passed five years ago that critics say effectively gives shoplifters and addicts the green light to commit crimes as long as the merchandise they steal or the drugs they take are less than $950 in value. The decision to downgrade theft of property valued below the arbitrary figure from felony to misdemeanor, together with selective enforcement that focuses on more “serious” crimes, has resulted in thieves knowing they can brazenly shoplift and merchants knowing the police will not respond to their complaints, say critics.
A source close to the investigation told Fox News that Mr. Durham is at a point where he knows he has crimes and now the question is how many people were involved and they have a pretty good idea of that group of people and what the charges can be.
The secret meetings in the Capitol Building moved upstairs this week.
The creatures crawled up to the main floor. Nobody will admit it,but the Matt Gaetz siege of the SCIF [getting the media to cover it] was the turning point. I believe that if Gaetz had not marched down those steps with his fellow Republicans they’d STILL be meeting in secret. The media gave Gaetz et al negative coverage of course, but the folks got the message. They knew the secret meetings in the dark weren’t right.Gaetz and his companions put a light on the cockroaches(and they scattered).
It’s not dead yet,but it’s on life support, thanks to the Democrats.Pelosi said nobody gets elected to impeach a President.Wrong. This will be at least the 3rd time they’ve tried it.
They’ve been trying since the day he put his hand on the Bible and swore the oath of office.
The House took a vote on the inquiry rules. They-the Dems that is- codified the process they were already using. The Republicans wanted no part of it and 2 Democrats joined them.No Republicans voted for it. The party is actually unified.
Meantime,Lindsey Graham drew up a resolution in the Senate and to date has 50 votes supporting it. There are 3 holdouts who will side with the Democrats but they’re the same 3 people who almost always side with the Democrats. They’re in the wrong party.

Here is the presser Sen Graham gave re the resolution.I think at the time he already had 40 some signatures. He explains his pov re the process the Democrats came up with. The resolution could put a stop on the trial. PERIOD.
Solution:Vote Republican in 2020 especially a re-election of Pres Trump

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) told reporters Thursday that House Democrat leaders are using the partisan impeachment inquiry to help decide who will be the next president of the United States, suggesting the probe will interfere with the 2020 elections. While briefing reporters in the wake of the House Democrat’s approval, along party lines, of the impeachment inquiry resolution, Scalise declared:
If you look at where we are at right now, we’re at an important point in history. Clearly, there are people that we serve with that don’t like the results of the 2016 election — that’s their prerogative — but the country next year will be deciding who our president is going to be. It should not be Nancy Pelosi and a small group of people that she selects that get to determine who’s going to be our president.
He went on to say that Democrats are not interested in getting to the bottom of the allegations that triggered the impeachment effort. Instead, their focus is solely on removing President Donald Trump from office and overturning the results of the 2016 elections, Scalise indicated.
the Lousiana Republican said:
They don’t really want to get to the truth. They want to remove a sitting president. In fact, the author of the articles of impeachment [Democrat Rep. Al Green from Texas] said, ‘if they don’t impeach the president, he will get re-elected.’ Now that’s not why we have impeachment.
“It’s a tainted process,” he added, referring to the impeachment probe.
House Democrats pursuing the impeachment inquiry are supposed to be trying to determine if Trump abused his power by pushing Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, in exchange for aid.
At the center of the impeachment inquiry is a complaint filed by an allegedly partisan “whistleblower” accusing Trump of a quid pro quo offer in which the president attempted to pressure Ukraine to launch a probe into the Bidens during a July 25 call in return for security assistance. Trump and Ukraine have denied the allegation.
Democrats have accused Trump of trying to influence the upcoming 2020 presidential elections by urging Ukraine to investigate his political rival — White House hopeful Biden. Breitbart News has noted, however, that in an ironic twist, the House Democrats’ impeachment probe itself is influencing the ongoing presidential race.
Until the vote takes place, it will remain unclear whether the impeachment probe will benefit or hurt Trump at the polls.
House Democrats launched the impeachment inquiry on September 24, a little over a year before the American public goes to the polls to elect the next president in November 2020.
Lawyers for former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn reportedly filed a motion on Thursday in which they allege that the Department of Justice manipulated a document to frame their client and is withholding exculpatory evidence.
