Trump must be destroyed thoroughly(update)

I didn’t say this. David Plouffe said it.

Who is David Plouffe? Most of us know, but for the benefit of those that don’t ,Mr Plouffe was the campaign manager for Barack Obama’s successful 2008 presidential campaign.
Most of us know that the media is hell bent on destroying President Trump. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say they are the propaganda arm of the Democrat party.
Finally, many of us are aware that the Obama administration was hell bent on weaponizing the intel agencies to get Donald Trump during his campaign and after his election, along with an assist from Hillary Clinton. The big scheme known as the Russia Hoax was going to be their coup d’état. The Mueller investigation was the ‘insurance policy’. They’re still trying to gather premiums on that one.
For now though i want to focus on the recent declaration of sedition against Trump.

The recently elected New York Attorney General, Letitia James, makes a public declaration that she intends to fully weaponize her office to target the Trump family.

This declaration especially infuriates me and hopefully will raise your ire too because of Mr Trump’s and his children’s acts of charity towards any number of people-including our vets- and his past support for his beloved city,New York.

Eric Trump has helped raise $16.3 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of Tennessee over the past decade, a hospital official said in a letter sent to a charity run by Mr. Trump, the president-elect’s son. The letter comes as Mr. Trump is preparing to remove his name from the charity to avoid conflicts of interest that could emerge from future fund-raising.
“I am amazed by the many ways that you have personally embraced our cause and cared for our children and families,” Richard C. Shadyac Jr., president of the hospital’s fund-raising organization, wrote in the Dec. 30 letter, which Mr. Trump provided to The Times. “As you are aware, we are expanding our lifesaving work and are working to push cure rates even higher in this country and around the world, while improving the lives of survivors by developing and advancing treatments that reduce side effects. We are only able to do this because of the support provided by donors and supporters like you.”
The Trump Organization will continue to raise money for St. Jude from patrons at its hotels and golf courses, Mr. Trump said. But it will ask them to make contributions directly to the hospital, he said, instead of first sending the money to the Trump Organization.

James Q. Wilson’s terrific book Bureaucracy has an interesting story about Donald Trump and New York mayor Ed Koch. The year was 1986. The city of New York had spent six years and $13 million failing to build an ice skating rink in Central Park. In early summer that year, Donald Trump proposed to Mayor Ed Koch that he take over the project for $3 million and promised to cover any excess amounts himself rather than go back to the city. By late October the project was finished and was three quarters of a million dollars under budget.

How do you explain this story? Why was the city of New York so inept that it could not do in six years and with five times the money what Donald Trump was able to achieve in a few months?

There are several reasons why the city failed so miserably, but ultimately, the answer is that when government tries to do something, everything is infected by politics. For example, when the city planned to build the rink, the type of fuel used for refrigeration was a political matter. When Trump built the rink, he only worried about getting a reliable refrigeration unit. The city also had to abide by standards for equitable bidding of the project. Trump only had to give the contract to someone he knew could get the job done. Most important, when the city had the project there wasn’t much incentive to contain cost. No member of the government would personally have to cover cost overruns. Trump, on the other hand, accepted responsibility for coming in at or under the budget as the only way he could come out ahead.

In the wake of her family tragedy, Jennifer Hudson has received a helping hand from a very unlikely source – Donald Trump.

Jennifer and some of her family members have been staying at the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago – and Trump has been picking up the tab.

“They are safe,” Trump told People on Monday night. “She’s a great girl and we’re protecting them well.”

According to E! Online, Hudson has been staying at the hotel since arriving in Chicago on October 24 – the day her mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found murdered, and her nephew, Julian King, was found missing.

Since checking into the hotel, the Oscar winner and former “American Idol” star has rarely left the hotel.

“She is still in shock,” a source told E!. “She hasn’t gone out much at all and has a lot of security around her.”

Trump Saved NY Veterans Day Parade Marking 50th Anniversary of End of WWII
Police estimated 500,000 people attended the largest military parade ever held in New York. Organizers, who placed the turnout at closer to a million, said the parade would not have been a success if it hadn’t been for real estate developer Donald Trump, who contributed $200,000 and raised another $300,000.

“Donald Trump saved the parade,” said parade director Tom Fox, himself a Vietnam veteran. “We had asked for donations from 200 corporations, and none of them came through,” he said.

“This donation is the single most important thing I’ve ever done,” said a beaming Trump. “This is more important than all of my buildings and my casinos. This is my way of saying thank you to all the men an women in the armed services who have made it possible for me to become a success. Without them freedom and liberty would be gone.”
This was not Trump’s first time supporting the New York Veterans Day Parade. In 1987 Trump gave $1 million to help the parade when it was in transition, according to a history of the parade reported by Business Insider in 2013.

Take these people at their word. They implicate themselves just by revealing their intentions. Think about that.

Do i think President Trump is a flawless person on the path to canonization? Hardly. For one,he’s not Catholic, for another he’s a work in progress and from time to time-like all of us-he can fail on a personal level. We didn’t vote for the Pope, our pastor, minister, preacher or priest.I know one thing with absolute certainty about Mr. Trump: He loves our country and every decision he makes AS PRESIDENT is intended to benefit our country and the American people(yes, even the people that hate him). Keep America Great is not a slogan with President Trump;it’s his objective. He means it.He’s brutal with his political enemies(YES!!!),he values loyalty from his friends(don’t we all)but he’s got a heart bigger than some people give him credit for and the media will never admit.

And they want to destroy Trump, his presidency and family? You have to wonder why.

Trump’s Ex-Lawyer Didn’t Violate Campaign Finance Laws, and Neither Did the President

President Donald Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, may have been convinced by the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York to plead guilty to a supposed violation of campaign finance law, but that doesn’t mean that what happened is actually a federal crime.

In fact, neither the Federal Election Commission—which is the independent agency tasked with enforcing the Federal Election Campaign Act—nor its former commissioners would likely agree with the overaggressive view that the Southern District is taking.

Indeed, the Southern District’s aggressive stance on this issue might have violated the Justice Department’s own policy.Robert Khuzami, the acting U.S. attorney standing in for Geoffrey Berman, who has recused himself from the Cohen case, says in the government’s sentencing memorandum that Cohen committed a campaign finance violation by arranging payments from corporations to two women—Woman-1 and Woman-2 (Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels, respectively), who claimed they had affairs with Trump—in order to buy their silence.

Cohen eventually invoiced the Trump Organization for the Daniels payment.Khuzami asserts these were illegal corporate contributions to the Trump campaign because they were made with “the intent to influence the 2016 presidential election.”

Thus, he claims, they were campaign-related expenses and all of the rules governing federal campaigns apply to the payments. But there are numerous problems with Khuzami’s claim.First, his theory that anything intended to “influence” an election is a campaign-related expense fails to take into account the statutory limitation on this definition.

FECA (52 U.S.C. 30114 (b)(2)) specifically says that campaign-related expenses do not include any expenditures “used to fulfill any commitment, obligation, or expense of a person that would exist irrespective of the candidate’s election campaign.

”These payments were relatively small given Trump’s net worth—the kind of nuisance settlement that celebrities often make to protect their reputations, especially when faced with claims that will cost far more to defend than making a quick payoff without all of the bad publicity that usually accompanies such cases.

Given Trump’s celebrity status, the potential liability to these women existed “irrespective of the candidate’s election campaign.”

As Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has said, the payment to Daniels was made “to resolve a personal and false allegation in order to protect the president’s family” and “it would have been done in any event, whether he was a candidate or not.”>>>

Rudy Giuliani Is Right: Settlement With Stormy Daniels Didn’t Violate Campaign Finance LawOn the one previous occasion that the Justice Department tried to argue that hush money payments to a mistress were a “campaign-related” expense, a jury also did not appear to buy the government’s theory.

In the unsuccessful prosecution of former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, campaign donors made payments to Edwards’ mistress, Rielle Hunter, a videographer who was actually working on his presidential campaign.Unlike Daniels and McDougal, Hunter was paid $1 million while directly working for the campaign and Edwards.

Her payments did not go through the Edwards campaign’s account, but the government tried to claim they were campaign expenditures because they were intended to protect Edwards’ reputation during his presidential run and thus “influence” the election

.Yet a jury acquitted Edwards on the charge of accepting an illegal campaign donation and failed to reach a verdict—resulting in a mistrial—on the other charges, which included filing false reports with the Federal Election Commission for not listing the payments to his mistress.

The fact that a jury did not convict Edwards would not ordinarily mean that the government did not have a viable claim that a defendant violated the law.

But consider this. Edwards had two former chairmen of the Federal Election Commission on retainer—Scott Thomas and Robert Lenhard—who were prepared to testify that, in their opinion, such payments to a mistress are not campaign-related expenses.

Brad Smith, another former chairman of the commission, has similarly said that the hush money paid by Cohen is not a campaign-related expense. So the government in the Edwards prosecution was unable to convince the jury that these were campaign-related expenses covered by federal campaign finance law.

The Justice Department subsequently dropped its prosecution and never retried Edwards—in part, no doubt, because many other campaign finance experts called the case “legally flawed,” according to a Politico report in 2012.

And this wasn’t just their opinion—it was also the opinion of the Federal Election Commission. How do we know? Because as the chief financial officer for the Edwards campaign testified, when the Federal Election Commission audited the campaign, it determined that these payments were not campaign-related expenses that
