Cruz Exposed(let this sink in)

When the protestors(basically paid agitators;darned close to rioters)shut down the Trump rally scheduled for Chicago,Cruz seized upon what he saw as a political opportunity and sided with the protestors.Another words you give Cruz a choice between freedom of speech/assembly and a political opportunity;he’ll take the opportunity.

When Cruz bypasses voters to bribe/bully delegates, there goes We The People, the first 3 words of the Constitution.

I know there is a bigotry against Christians in our country so what i’m about to write isn’t meant to give bigots fuel to attack Christians with,k? What REALLY bugs me about Cruz is how he wears  Christianity  on his sleeve and can turn around 5 seconds later and LIE.

Cruz believes he’s been anointed by God. His father believes Ted has been anointed by God.  I don’t know that  anyone has been anointed by God to be our President. I do know that there are some things God ordains as well as some things God permits.Whatever an outcome is, chances are, God at least permitted it.I do not look to any person, not even Trump,to be my Savior.Cruz seems to be of the mind that the end justifies the means.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states,

A good intention…does not make behavior that is intrinsically disordered, such as lying and calumny, good or just. The end does not justify the means. A morally good act requires the goodness of its object.

Sorry Ted.I do not believe you are anointed by God.I don’t like your lying, cheating and fraud. It doesn’t strike me as being Christian.Jerry Falwell Jr of Liberty University endorsed Trump and that speaks volumes.

I also don’t require a Presidential Candidate to be doing exegesis of scripture. As long as he looks out for the interests of the American people,is transparent and honest, does what’s best for the country and is pro life-he  doesn’t need to go around quoting scripture. There’s no way on earth I am  going to support someone like Cruz who uses a Christian label to get votes.

BTW.I also oppose same sex marriage and want protections for religious institutions but i can’t possibly  vote for someone who thinks killing homosexuals is acceptable.I certainly would be reluctant to vote for a candidate who even associated with people who thought that was acceptable.

As a Catholic i do not use contraceptives. I also know that some contraceptives are abortifacients;meaning i believe those should be illegal. Realistically, you are not going to be able to ban the sale of contraceptives but people of conscience should not be forced to provide them either. The same is true with same sex marriage. People of conscience should not be forced to violate their conscience and participate in what they believe is a grave moral evil. Trump has assured me 100% that our religious liberty will be protected. That’s all i ask for.

I don’t think getting into the weeds on these issues is going to be helpful to any Republican candidate. Trump has focused instead on the economy, trade and the problem of illegals  coming into the U.S. unfettered.

He can’t be worse than Obama on the moral issues  of the day.He could never be worse than Clinton or Sanders.
Ted is into Dominionism-known as Seven Mountain Theology-or at least his dad is.

I’m not sure that Ted is interested in anything but getting elected. He’s sneaky.Who knows what he really believes? For that matter,i’m not sure i care because he hasn’t given me the best impression anyway.

You have to know that according to Dominionism, Cruz is  going to usher in the Second Coming of Christ.(As a Catholic i happen to believe Jesus will return no matter who we elect as President.) I don’t know of any Catholic doctrine that supports such an idea.I don’t pretend to know the mind of God either.I heard one person at a Trump rally ask Trump if he was going to bring back morality to our country. Ok,i get that the founding fathers based our republic and its documents on Christian principles. I don’t expect our Presidents to act immorally.I couldn’t vote for such a person. On the other hand it is not the role of the President to bring back morality. That’s OUR job. It’s the role of our religious institutions. The role of government is to protect those institutions. God’s in management. We’re in sales but we expect the customer to take the sale by choice, not force. God gave man free will. For someone that brags he knows our Constitution, like Cruz does, he seems to have forgotten our founders were prepared to sacrifice blood and treasure to get rid of King George.

The US Conferences of Catholic bishops issued the following statement as a guide for Catholics participating in our CIVIC  RESPONSIBILITY to vote &  serve our nation.

Some question whether it is appropriate for the Church to play a role in political life. However, the obligation to teach the moral truths that should shape our lives, including our public lives, is central to the mission given to the Church by Jesus Christ. Moreover, the United States Constitution protects the right of individual believers and religious bodies to participate and speak out without government interference, favoritism, or discrimination. Civil law should fully recognize and protect the right of the Church and other institutions in civil society to participate in cultural, political, and economic life without being forced to abandon or ignore their central moral convictions. Our nation’s tradition of pluralism is enhanced, not threatened, when religious groups and people of faith bring their convictions and concerns into public life. Indeed, our Church’s teaching is in accord with the foundational values that have shaped our nation’s history: “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

The Catholic community brings important assets to the political dialogue about our nation’s future. We bring a consistent moral framework-drawn from basic human reason that is illuminated by Scripture and the teaching of the Church-for assessing issues, political platforms, and campaigns. We also bring broad experience in serving those in need-educating the young, serving families in crisis, caring for the sick, sheltering the homeless, helping women who face difficult pregnancies, feeding the hungry, welcoming immigrants and refugees, reaching out in global solidarity, and pursuing peace. We celebrate, with all our neighbors, the historically robust commitment to religious freedom in this country that has allowed the Church the freedom to serve the common good.

Ted Cruz is a  seven mountains dominionist. He doesn’t come out and say it but there’s enough background to conclude  he is-and he never denies it.

His own father believes Ted is anointed to be the King.Sorry but our founders didn’t sacrifice all that they did-risking their lives-to set up a monarchy again. They outright rejected it.

Countries evolved into nation states over time, rather than Kingdoms. As a Catholic {as well as an American citizen) i have to reject the idea that Cruz is going to be some kind of king ushering in the Second Coming of Jesus.

Unfortunately Dominionism misses the mark when it comes to scripture. They take Genesis 1:28* and extrapolate that dominion means MAN has dominion over every single thing. I want a President that protects religious liberty and human rights-including  the right to life -but i am not going to vote for some ideologue like Cruz. That would be like electing a Catholic President then insisting that everyone obey our Pope when he speaks ex cathedra re matters of faith and morals. Not going to happen.Cruz  is just plain creepy and when the word gets out where his head is at, a lot of people will run for the hills.Worse is that he thinks the end (dominionism)justifies the means. It’s why he lies and cheats. Now if he doesn’t really believe in dominionism then the only motive he has is to get elected for power and money;unfortunately he’s still willing to do anything.

My obligation as a  Catholic:

It is the duty of citizens to contribute along with the civil authorities to the good of society in a spirit of truth, justice, solidarity, and freedom. The love and service of one’s country follow from the duty of gratitude and belong to the order of charity. Submission to legitimate authorities and service of the common good require citizens to fulfill their roles in the life of the political community.

2240 Submission to authority and co-responsibility for the common good make it morally obligatory to pay taxes, to exercise the right to vote, and to defend one’s country [Rom 13:7]:

a Catholic can have an obligation to vote so as to prevent an unworthy candidate, an enemy of religion, liberty and morals, from coming into office.

205. Voting is a civic duty which would seem to bind at least under venial sin whenever a good candidate has an unworthy opponent. It might even be a mortal sin if one’s refusal to vote would result in the election of an unworthy candidate. [Jone, Moral Theology (Dublin: Mercier Press, 1929, 1955)]

Dominionism states that the second coming of Jesus Christ will never occur until “God’s kingdom” is established on earth and reigns for either a thousand years or an unknown time period.

Catholic doctrine states:

As the Creed infallibly teaches, the Second Coming is associated with the end of the world and the Last Judgment. Therefore, it is NOT associated with any earlier time – such as to establish a “Millennium.” The Catholic Church specifically condemns “millenarianism,” according to which Jesus will establish a throne in this world and reign here for a thousand years [CCC 676]. She teaches instead that Jesus already reigns in eternity (1 Cor. 15:24-27, Rev. 4 & 5) and that in this world His reign, established as a seed, is found already in the Church [CCC 668-669]. This is the 1000 years, which is the Hebrew way of indicating an indefinite long time – in this case, the time between the first and second comings, the era of the Church, in other words the last days in the broadest sense. The Book of Revelation situates this era between the persecutions of the Roman antichrists of the first century and the final unleashing of evil at the end.

The notion that Jesus will come, reign, and then depart, so that the devil can trick the world again, is incompatible with the incomprehensible dignity of the Lord and His love for His people. Jesus’ Coming will be definitive, triumphant and ever-lasting, NOT temporal and limited.

The two-Catholicism and Dominionism-are totally opposed when it comes to teaching on the end times. “Millenarianism” is a heresy and Catholics should reject it.

Cruz being the one to usher in the Second Coming is just too off the charts for me.I’ll vote Trump and let God decide when the time comes.I’ll let Trump look out for the interests of our country including religious liberty.

In case anyone is wondering;i voted McCain and Romney both.It wasn’t that i was crazy about either candidate(those elites sure know how to pick losers for us)but neither could ever have been as bad a choice as Obama. A man I knew would be pro abortion/ A man I knew would attack marriage and the family. He was a total Soros radical and secular humanist.
He turned out to be worse than I could have imagined. This time I’m making the choice and voting Trump. Cruz is in bed with the establishment. Christians are SUPPOSED to be honest.Cruz is as crooked as they come. It’s not a statement i make lightly.
