@megynkelly talks to Tony Perkins re Rand Paul & abortion #kellyfiles

Now that we’ve seen Debbie Wasserman Schultz dance around the abortion question let’s talk about the abortion question. The truth is the DNC isn’t going to spell out their postition at all. The standard answers are: it’s a woman’s right

It’s between a woman and her doctor(aka abortionist)

It’s her body therefore her choice.

She’s not going to answer. The DNC isn’t going to answer. It’s that simple. Where do we go from here then? First, i want to address Catholics who don’t know what the Church actually teaches re abortion. I don’t care if non Catholics don’t know what the Catholic Church teaches-i do care when Catholics don’t seem to know either. We better. It’s one of the 5 non negotiable issues and is considered intrisically evil. That’s serious. Put another way, we can debate(and disagree)re the death penalty, poverty, war, welfare, immigration and how best to address those issues. Abortion is not up for debate.Neither is euthanasia, cloning, same sex ‘marriage’ and EMBRYONIC stem cell research.ALL non negoitable. ALL intrinsically evil. Megyn Kelly brought up an important issue;what if the life of the mother is in danger? The Cathoilc Church teaches, from the Catechism of the Catholic Church: (every Catholic should have one and read it)

2271 Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law…2272 Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. “A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae,”77 “by the very commission of the offense,”78 and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law.79 The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society.

If the mother’s life is in danger? Catholic teaching explained here:

“There are instances in which it is legitimate for an expectant mother to undergo certain medical or surgical procedures that will save her life, even if these procedures inevitably involve the death of her unborn child. In these cases it is not a question of intentionally aborting the child. They involve, rather, accepting the loss of the child as an unavoidable consequence of caring for the mother´s health…. Inasmuch as abortion is the willful taking of the life of the unborn, we are not permitted to do it even to save the life of the mother. Indeed, we are never permitted to commit any sin, for whatever praiseworthy motive. In addition, it is hard to imagine any case in which the death of an unborn child, considered in itself, would save the life of the mother. There are instances in which it is legitimate for an expectant mother to undergo certain medical or surgical procedures that will save her life, even if these procedures inevitably involve the death of her unborn child. In these cases it is not a question of intentionally aborting the child. They involve, rather, accepting the loss of the child as an unavoidable consequence of caring for the mother´s health. The clearest and surest example is the ectopic pregnancy. As everyone knows, should the fetus become lodged in the oviduct or fallopian tube, its continued growth will result in the death of both child and mother. A normal and proper procedure in this case is the removal of the fallopian tube, from which the death of the unborn child inevitably follows. In this case the death of the child is not sought, nor is the mother´s life saved by the child´s dying. This is NOT an abortion. Quite simply, the mother´s life is saved by the surgical removal of the oviduct, not by the death of her child.”

Megyn also mentioned Roe V Wade-in the near future i’m going to put up an audio from Theology of the Body that was recorded by EWTN. It discusses the Supreme Court Decision. For now let’s talk about ‘Jane Roe’.

Jane Roe’s real name is Norma McCorvey. The daughter that many people believe she aborted is 43 yr old. She was adopted by a Texas family.Norma became a pro life advocate and convert to the Catholic faith.

We’re going to take a look at Planned Parenthood too. They are not a magnanimous organization by a long shot; the foundation of the organization is diabolical. They are definitely not a champion of women’s rights. The name Planned Parenthood is an oxymoron. If anything they are destroying parenthood and families.Abortion is a lucrative business for them. It’s all based on a lie.Debbie Wasserman Schultz is never going to admit where the DNC really stands. They keep presenting the question of abortion as if conservatives are the only ones who have to answer.Sorry-if you have a position it’s up to you to defend it. it’s time the other side has to defend the indefensible even if they don’t want to admit it. It’s the way THEY roll.
