Tomorrow,Theology of the Simple is going to delve into evil and sin. Yes,they’re real.No,a good God did not create evil.He permits evil. We can’t have it both ways. We can’t say God isn’t good because evil exists-God would have had to create man without free will. We wouldn’t have the freedom to choose between good and evil. There it is. We would live in the world as robots;no choices possible. You have to wonder though,why there are people who don’t believe evil is real. Not a concept. Not a theological argument. Not something ‘out there.’ REAL.
