Dedicated to St Joseph(the foster father of Jesus)

in light of the recent March for Life and a special intention of my husband and me i decided to skip the Step 4 today and put that up tonight.Instead dedicate an entry to St Joseph, foster father of Jesus.
joseph and Mary

O blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector
of thy chaste spouse, the virgin Mother of God, I choose thee this day to
be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor thee all
the days of my life. Therefore I humbly beseech thee to receive me as thy
client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction,
to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus,
and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death. Amen

“I know by experience,” says St. Teresa of Avila, “that the glorious St. Joseph assists us generally in all necessities. I never asked him for anything which he did not obtain for me.”

Abortion, contraception and questions of life are not just issues for women, they are also for men. St Joseph in his unique role is bascially showing men that it’s time to ‘man up.’ There isn’t a recorded word of St Joseph in scripture but in humble obedience he taught by example.Protector of Jesus,Mary and the Church.

Could a US priest face jail for refusing to break confession seal? :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)

Washington D.C., Jan 21, 2015 / 05:03 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear a petition from a Louisiana Catholic diocese that fears a civil lawsuit could force a priest to violate the seal of confession or go to jail.

The Diocese of Baton Rouge and diocesan priest Father Jeff Bayhi were disappointed by the decision, which the diocese said has “significant ramifications for religious freedom in Louisiana and beyond.”
