Autism Group Slams Decision Allowing Mother to Kill Her Disabled Daughter | LifeNews.com

The euthanasia of Nancy Fitzmaurice, a severely disabled child who was not dying has made international waves with disability advocates especially outraged. Nancy’s mother had requested that her daughter be killed and was granted approval by the British legal system. While the 12-year-old Nancy had significant disabilities, she was able to breathe on her own and did not require life support.

It’s coming and why it matters(A LOT)#Midterms

steaming coffeeCoffee time. While we’re sipping the morning java let’s think about the upcoming election. The Democrats are neck in neck with the Republican candidates in several states. Dead heat. I have to ask WHY?

They’re all saying how terrible Obama’s policies were and they’re not supporting them. This must be an epiphany of sorts because up until now-the midterms-they were behind them 100%. You do know if you elect them they will roll over for Obama and Harry Reid every single time. Not a peep from any of them all year.

I can’t believe people would fall for it.Seems they are.

PLS do not give the Senate to these people. Ok,you may not be crazy about some of the Republicans. They need a fire lit under them too but we definitely do not need a rubber stamp up there from Reid.

Accuse me of being racist, sexist, elitist if you like:

1. you don’t know me from a hill of beans. I oppose Obama’s policies and if his skin color were white I would still vehemently oppose his policies. One of Obama’s biggest backers is George Soros. He happens to be a powerful  anti American  WHITE MALE.

2. I’m female;hardly sexist.

3. Our income is what our government considers the poverty level so I’m hardly an elitist and far from rich.

The Republicans are not going to cut off Social Security-my parents got that threat every election and it kept them voting Democrat out of fear. No elderly person on a fixed income-the only income they have-is going to risk their only income so the Dems used fear and kept them in their column. It never happened either.

The Republicans are NOT going to throw grandma over the cliff. Obamacare is more likely to do that.

We are not going to take away birth control. You can buy it almost anywhere.

We are not trying to suppress the vote. The Klu Klux Klan was not standing outside a polling station with clubs-that was the New Black Panthers and the Justice Dept let it go. If anything we want people to get out and vote!

The Democratic play book is demonize your opponent and renounce the policies you supported. PERIOD.

The Republicans will force Obama to WORK WITH Congress. They will not run slip shod over the Democrats the way Harry Reid ran slip shod over the Republicans. We will not rub it in and say you have to support our policies because “we won.” Obama did that. We’re not going to sink that low.

Seriously this is a very important election. It’s about the economy. It’s about jobs. A minimum wage increase does no one any good if you can’t get a job to get a wage from.

We have some good Republican candidates this time around. They have fresh NEW ideas they will bring to Congress. It’s just what we need.

Don’t stay home. Not this time.

BTW DEMOCRATS-The Republicans are NOT going to waste time trying to impeach Obama. Nonsense. He only has one more year in office. You can’t be falling for that one, right?

Have a good rest of morning folks…BBL

your right to vote

#Republicans #Democrats #MidTerms #Election2014

Why we should vote Democrat-The Bush Policies the Republicans supported:

1. look at Fast and Furious where guns were given to Mexican cartels to be tracked by the DOJ. They lost track of the guns and Brian Terry was a border patrol agent killed by the same.

2. Targeting of opposition groups by the IRS-in fact SANCTIONED by the White House. The DOJ turned a blind eye. Twice as bad as the Nixon Watergate scandal where Nixon TRIED to get the IRS to target groups that opposed him.

3. black unemployment at an all time high because Bush was racist.

4. Can you imagine? Trading high profile members of Al-Qaeda for an alleged deserter!

5. Proclaiming a Red Line in a foreign country for the use of chemical weapons and then ignoring it

6. Abandoning our allies and appeasing our enemies

7. Having no real policy to handle a highly contagious virus from a foreign country

8. Targeting reporters that attempted to investigate the administration.Even to the point of bringing criminal charges against them.

9. Claiming to be THE most transparent administration in history then covering up-with the co-operation of the media-every scandal the administration might have been involved in.

10. Corrupting the media to the point they excused every scandal of the administration and supported the man no matter what.

NOT the Bush administration. That IS the Obama administration. Now consider,if you are Democrat,a Republican actually gets elected President in 2016, all those scandals the present administration has gotten away with.Think about the corruption this has set up.What if the Republican President decided to use the IRS to target liberal groups and could get away with it?
Remember the shoe could go on the other foot. You could get what you asked for.Just a thought. Hypothetical. NONE of us would elect such a person.Of course we already did but i would hope we’d know better next time.

Consider this too: ALL the Democratic candidates running in the mid terms who suddenly oppose Obama’s policies. Where were their voices back when? They weren’t criticizing the policies when they were VOTING FOR them. Now it’s the mid terms and they suddenly discover they oppose them? I don’t think so. They’ll say anything to get elected and once they do-bing! They’ll go along with Harry Reid every time.

Blog of the Week

A new feature-blog of the week. I will be highlighting the best blogs i’ve found through the WP reader. If  yours is not mentioned yet;not to worry. It will be.Many of the blogs I read are either in the menu or under ‘blogs I follow’. Another words feel free to check those out too!

The Criteria:

First, it must be conservative.

Two, it must be informative.

Three,it must be truthful and honest(no conspiracy theories here)

Fourth,it doesn’t have to deal only with politics and religion-although those are my 2 favorite topics. It can be about crafts, recipes and other miscellaneous topics. Even humor. We need something up beat every now and then don’t we?

I don’t do celebrity gossip though. The culture dishes out enough of it. Sports? Sure, from time to time.Hollywood? Not the Enquirer.

Yes,I’m Catholic ;naturally  I will be drawn to other Catholic blogs  but your blog doesn’t have to BE Catholic either. As long as it’s not anti Catholic. If an article attacks the Pope (or the Church),whether it’s Catholic or not, that article will NOT get a reblog. Sorry, with all due respect, our Holy Father needs our prayers. I don’t believe PUBLIC criticism is a good witness to the faith.

Today’s first blog of the week goes to

THE SISTINE CHAPEL, MEMORIES AND MAGICAL MOMENTS – BENEDICT XVI WRITES ORDINARIATE OF OUR LADY OF WALSINGHAM

Joan's Rome

The Sistine Chapel is today’s big story as the new lighting, heating and ventilation systems installed by Carrier and the German firm Osram were introduced to the media last evening. Only a doctor‘s order could keep a good woman down and that is the reason I missed last night’s presentation. However, I have had other similar beautiful experiences and share those with you (see the first story below which I also put on my Facebook page.)

The Sistine Chapel was also the subject of one of the stories in a column I wrote on November 2, 2012 about the previous evening when Pope Benedict XVI celebrated vespers to mark the 500th anniversary of the completion of the chapel’s famed ceiling by Michelangelo in October 1512. (Enjoy the up-close-and-personal of the chapel with photos I took on an earlier visit.). http://www.ewtn.com/news/blog.asp?blogposts_ID=1614&blog_ID=1

The last decades have seen the restoration of the Sistine…
